🇮🇳 India Daybook: NCC Bags Major Metro Order, Brightcom Group Trading Resumes

📍 ORDER WIN

  • NCC Limited: The infrastructure company has received a major contract valued at ₹2,269 crore (excluding GST) from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority. The order is for the construction of Mumbai Metro Line 6 – Package 1-CA-232.
  • SPML Infra: The company has won a water supply project.

📍 EARNINGS/FINANCIAL RESULTS

  • Avenue Supermarts (DMart): The company reported a marginally flat net profit of ₹773 crore for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to ₹774 crore in the previous corresponding period. Revenue, however, increased by 16.30% year-on-year to ₹16,359.70 crore, with EBITDA growing by 6.4% to ₹1,299 crore.
  • GTPL Hathway: The company announced its Q1 results.

📍 REGULATORY & COMPLIANCE

  • Brightcom Group: Trading of the company's equity shares officially resumed on both the BSE and NSE from July 14, 2025, following the revocation of a previous suspension. The shares will trade under the 'T' Group on BSE and in the 'BE' series on NSE, on a trade-for-trade basis. The suspension, which began on June 14, 2024, was due to an ongoing SEBI investigation into accounting irregularities.
