๐ ACQUISITION & INVESTMENT
- Shriram Finance's board approved a substantial investment of โน39,618 crore from Japanese financial services provider MUFG for a 20% stake, to be facilitated through a preferential issuance of equity shares. The deal awaits approvals from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
- Unity Small Finance Bank emerged as the winning bidder for the bankrupt Aviom India Housing Finance, with an upfront payment offer of โน977.5 crore.
- ArcelorMittal announced an investment of approximately $900 million to develop three renewable energy projects in India, aiming to add 1 gigawatt (GW) capacity and double its total renewable energy capacity in the country to 2 GW.
- Waaree Energies' arm signed an agreement to acquire 53.7 lakh shares in United Solar Holding for $30 million and established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Hydro Bloom Energy.
- Tata Chemicals' arm executed an agreement to acquire a 100% stake in Singapore-based Novabay for an enterprise value of S$37.8 million (approximately โฌ25 million).
- Craftsman Automation's subsidiary, DR Axion, completed the acquisition of Suprash Developers and indirectly acquired Srikara Technologies for โน145.8 crore.
- Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences acquired an additional 6.94% stake in Sarvejana Healthcare for โน148 crore, increasing its total holding to 75.53%.
- Tata Steel acquired 149 crore shares of its subsidiary T Steel Holdings for โน1,355 crore.
- Sandur Manganese saw its promoter, Lohagiri Industries, acquire a 14.91% stake, boosting the promoter's shareholding to 18.19%.
- Indian Overseas Bank saw the government divest a 2.17% stake through an Offer For Sale (OFS) on December 18, reducing its holding to 92.44%.

- MIC Electronics Limited secured a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Nagpur Division of the Central Railway for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom assets and passenger amenities at seven railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Yojana. The project is valued at Rs 1,05,31,118.
- Ceigall India Limited was awarded a โน12.185 crore contract by the Punjab government for a desilting project. The company also clarified that unusual trading volumes were linked to its L1 bidder status for a 130 MW solar power project worth โน550 crore under the PM KUSUM-C scheme.
- Soma Textiles received a โน281 crore construction order from Roadway Solutions India.

- Mswipe Technologies received the final Payment Aggregator (PA) licence from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), enabling it to operate across both online and physical payment acceptance channels.
- Apollo Micro Systems received two significant Transfer of Technology (ToT) approvals from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for a laser-based Directed Energy Weapon (DEW) system and an electro-optical (EO) tracking system for DEWs.

- Cipla Limited launched Afrezzaยฎ (insulin human) Inhalation Powder in India. This needle-free inhaled insulin, approved by CDSCO, offers a convenient alternative to injectable insulin therapy for adults with diabetes mellitus.
- Emcure Pharmaceuticals launched Poviztra, a second brand of Novo Nordisk's semaglutide injection for weight management, across India. Emcure is the first Indian company to exclusively distribute and commercialise Poviztra in the country, pricing it 15-20% lower than Novo Nordisk's Wegovy.
- Kross introduced a new product, Tipping Jacks, in the trailer segment, with plans to achieve a production capacity of 800 units per month by FY27.
- Sudarshan Chemical launched a new red pigment, Sudafast Red, for printing ink applications.
- Titagarh Rail Systems rolled out India's first driverless metro train set for Ahmedabad Metro at its West Bengal facility.
